Thank you Lanier – what a precious picture of our Lord’s tender care for us! I could just imagine your thrill when your sweet lambs came running at the sound of your voice for the first time. It also makes me stop and think of how many times I’ve heard HIS voice and quickly thought I would spend time with Him ‘later’ or in ‘just a bit’ and then the day goes slipping by without that fellowship. How disappointed He must be and how much I miss!! “And in the voluntary compulsion of Love, we follow Him.” How could I give him anything less?! love you!

I cannot tell you how pleased I am that I have found you are BACK. Toodling about the internet about 18 months ago, I discovered YLCF (though, at 34, I’m rather older than the ‘rest of them’) and the link to your blog. As a lover of all things L.M. Montgomery, Elizabeth Goudge, and G. L. Hill — and a sucker for any old binding — I thought your blog was heaven-sent. And I was so sad you were no longer updating it! My daughters and I are doing a Bible study together on the names of God. We just studied about him as our Shepherd (Jehovah-Raah). This is a timely and lovely post that I look forward to sharing with them.
