Hello Lanier,

Your latest entry has spured me on to double my efforts at creating my own library. I've always enjoyed finding another title to scratch off my list of "must haves" and seeing that someone has put a name, a date or if given as a gift, a special message to the recipient. It's a little glimpse into the lives of those who have gone before us.

Thank you Lanier! I absolutely loved reading this post. What a beautiful tribute!
The pictures are beautiful, too. I was looking through pictures the other day and thinking that I should write something about the lives of my own grandmothers. So many people forget about the wonderful women that paved the way for them. I have been so blessed by my own ancestors, who were Christians as far back as we know.
By the way, my maternal great grandmother's name was Willie Mae--I've never seen anyone else spell Mae the same way before. :)
