Lanier--
I so enjoy reading your blog. I, too, am a lover of books and nature and our Lord. I've never posted here before, but your post today made me think of the sleepless night I just had. Our neighbor you see, has a rooster. I don't mind the chickens--I rarely hear them except when it is very quiet, but the rooster is another story. Over the last month he has grown and his voice has, too! He seems to have no sense of time, but crows all night--and I do mean ALL NIGHT.

This is a neighbor that we've had for many years, and I don't want to make an enemy. Can you suggest a way they might make the rooster less audible to neighbors?

Thank you!
