Honey, I just love your way with words, and thank God that He created the occasional rare sweet person brave enough to write down the beautiful things.
As I'm sure you can imagine, my journals are far too heavy with introspection and the weighty sorrows of the world. Far from finding release in this practice, I have instead been heartily dicouraged from any consistency in my journalling. Who would want to re-read such torturous musings. I certainly don't!
You know I have finally realized, I have been taking the easy way out. It's easy to write our difficult thoughts but much harder to take them to God in prayer.
You have inspired me, dear heart, with these beautiful glimpses of Spring and have reminded me again that nothing is more telling about a persons true character than what gives them the greatest joy.
Here's to Poggliobonis, downy chicks, bean sprouts, and more of it!

Thank you so much for that glimpse of your spring! I have not had the time to care for our flowers like they need, but when I saw our irises bursting into bloom this morning as I was headed to work, I just had to stop and admire them! No one can create true beauty like God can. I could just get lost in His beautiful creation sometimes!

Thanks, Lanier!
You know, baby chicks are some of the most fun things to watch. It's a simple pleasure and worth the time. :)

You are an artist with words. Thank you!
(And while my two precious ones and I stood in the rain and cold for the home school rally at our state capitol building yesterday, I thought of you and your tea party, praying that you had a more hospitable setting, but not convinced that you were...)

Lovely thoughts!
I came home from a hectic day of teaching several evenings ago,
and a beautiful Monarch butterfly flittered across the driveway in front of me.
God's little kiss to remind me that He loves me! :)

Dear friend, I've so enjoyed "catching up" on your life through all your entries. You never cease to amaze me and make me wish for a more simple life...simple faith. To just spend one afternoon soaking up your spirit would be heaven! Until then....know that you have a friend who thinks of you often even though she is woefully unfaithful in writing.
