Lanier, that sounds delicious! I've already made my grocery run this week, but that is definitely on the menu for next week.
Hope we can get together soon. Katie and I were discussing maybe getting together for tea? We'll have to plan something.
Thanks for all you write. It blesses me more than you know.
Sincerely,
Annie

This will also be on MY list next week as I have several friends bed ridden at the moment who will surely appriciate the hardiness that this dish seems to have. Missed you over Christmas. Hope all is well, Rebekah

Lanier, this recipe looks so inspiring! I thought of you when I posted about that book -- I think you'd enjoy it. Food writing combines so many art forms -- cooking, writing, drawing, photographing...and of course, tasting!

Yum! This sounds delightful and I will definitely give it a try next week! I actually
had the urge to cook today also - it must be the sound of the wind howling around the corners of the house. My home smells like meatballs, oven roasting in spaghetti sauce, just like my grandmother used to cook hers -another 'comfort food' and always better the next day.
Love you!
