I totally agree with your review of this movie! What a delight to see a much loved book treated with such gentle "hands". This will join the BBC Pride and Prejudice, the A&E Pride and Prejudice...and will be like the "little " Jane Eyre, the midsized Jane Eyre and the great BIG Jane Eyre. It is nice to see "old friends" through new and artistic eyes.

I am an Austen fan and P&P is definitely a favourite...being an Australian I wasn't "graced" with the lovely American ending, but was rather blessed with the pacing Darcy and expectant Lizzy finish. I was joyfully satisfied with the new interpretation
