Lanier,
I loved hearing about your Thanksgiving Eve cranberry conserve tradition. What a precious story. Thank you for sharing your history behind the recipe -- and it was indeed delicious!

You are so fortunate to be able to stay home and care for your home and family. Do you have any children? God bless you!

"To chip away at marble and turn it into a marvellous piece of sculpture takes work, constant and patient. To 'sculpt' a life, in the midst of life itself, takes more work, is for longer periods of time, and needs far more patience."
Edith Schaeffer
Lanier, we know the benefits of this hard work are so vast and satisfying! I thought of that day we spent together so much this year and longed for the sweetness that comes from a kindred spirit! I pray the quote from Elizabeth Goudge will inspire everyone who reads it, as it has me. Those words have enlivened my spirits on many a day these past years, when I felt overwhelmed by the world around me. Thank you for your beautiful way of capturing a very special moment in time! Thinking and praying for you today, my dear, treasured friend!
